Frightening and most telling, isn't it? See Queen Elizabeth's quote, top right.
We spend most of our lives accumulating possessions. Yet, here is someone from the other side who has all the possessions one could possibly have, and she says that she would give them all away for a "moment of time." How ironic!
Another view is offered to us by the sage American author, scientist and statesman, Ben Franklin, who says, "Dost thou love life? Then do not squander time, for that is the stuff life is made of."
It comes down to setting priorities and how we manage time. To this end, Peter Drucker, the famous management guru, cautions us thus, "Until we can manage TIME, we can manage nothing else." Therefore, let us stop doing what we are, set our priorities first and start putting time on our side.
Here are a few pointers to managing time.
